muggs Posted July 14, 2006 Report Share Posted July 14, 2006 I hate to admit this, but the new kitten is winning me over fast. Little Oscar's a boy after my own heart. Ever time I went walking down the hallway last night, the little guy would ambush my feet from somewhere. He's a born hunter. It didn't take long for me to see a few advantages cats have over dogs too. For one, you don't have to potty train them. Two, they don't bark. Don't get me wrong, dogs still make the best pets. Seriously, everytime I water the garden the hose leaks at the connection. She stands in the spray. She also doesnt worry about rain unless its pouring down. Btw, cats have attitude. You can say what you want about them but they are a lot of fun. I love wrestling with our orange cat. He still acts like a Kitten. He will shred your arm, attack your feet, etc. You cat haters dont know what youre missing..... Dont get me wrong, Feral cats are useless and a hazard to other animals. But then again so are wild dog pacs, Feral hogs, etc. All of my Gatos are declawed, spayed/ neutered, and vaccinated on a regular basis. My grandmother was putting wet clothes in the dryer and the dang cat jumped in after them......he took about a 5 minute ride in the dryer. We could hear him in there tumbling and meowing.
