horst
Well, my wife finally got to take her state boards. It was a wild day last week as she was 3 hrs from home, forgot her license and almost didnt get to take them at all because of it, then she got the max number of questions and was so rattled she thought for sure she flunked it.But after a 5 day wait for the results{Its almost inhumane} she passed, shes a licensed RN now in the state of Iowa. Tominator
Re: Wife took her boards Wow! Congrats to her Chris. If your area is like our area, she's gonna have her choice of jobs. There's a real shortage of RN's here in Ohio. That should make paying the bills easier, eh?

BowJoe
Re: Wife took her boards I sympathize with you and her. My wife has been an LPN for 7 yrs and my Sister In Law is an RN, my MIL is an LPN and my BIL is a Doctor. Worst patients ever. Stubborn too. Mach1
Re: Wife took her boards Congrats to your wife. My fiancee took her boards her in IL on Thursday and got her results today and she also passed. It was a long two days for her as she tried to keep herself busy so she didn't think about it. I couldn't imagine worrying for 5 days. It must vary state to state on the waiting time because one of her friends took hers in Missouri and got her grades the same or next day. If your area is like our area, she's gonna have her choice of jobs. There's a real shortage of RN's here in Ohio. That should make paying the bills easier, eh? [/ QUOTE ] Pretty sure there is a shortage of nurses everywhere, and an even bigger shortage of GOOD nurses. Best of luck to her with whatever type of job she takes on with it Chris. Be expecting to get lots of stuff in the mail offering her to go to work all over the country.
