dogdoc
i'd find another huntin' partner--or if like me--hunt alone! good luck this season todd
Rhino
Re: Here We go again I agree with dogdoc. Hunt where you know you probably have deer, not where you know they aren't at. Either with another buddy or on your own. You can still share hunting stories. Who knows if you are seeing deer and hopefully killing some too, your buddy will come to his senses too. VermontHunter
Re: Here We go again What exactly does he find so appealing about not seeing deer ??? I agree I'd do my own thing and if he wants to tag along latter so be it...but don't give up on you own success...good luck

wtnhunt
Re: Here We go again Might try talking to your buddy, but sounds like he is too hard headed. If he is insistent on hunting there, guess he would be there by himself.
MuZZyMomentZ
Re: Here We go again Yeah I agree with all those who have posted above me. Texan_Til_I_Die
Re: Here We go again Some general observations: The area your friend likes to hunt may be over run with bird hunters, but that doesn't mean the deer have all left. Are there deer there the rest of the year? If so, its probably more a matter of the deer going nocturnal or just being plain sneaky. You may need to think about where and how the bird hunters move and what the deer are likely to do in response. Maybe you need some innovative tactics and/or stand locations?
