Steven
Re: Mispronounced words: I use what-not all the time. I'll explain it by telling a little story I made up for my nephew when he was about 3. This is Tyler's truck. He hauls dirt, gravel and what-not. People say 'Tyler, that's a big truck to only haul dirt.' Tyler replies, 'I haul dirt, gravel and what-not.' The end So, what-not means anything. Guest huntwriter
Re: Mispronounced words: [ QUOTE ] irregardless- A classic. [/ QUOTE ] That one drives me right up the wall. English is not my native language. For the heck of me I cannot say "Photographer" and keep saying it in German, which is the same but with an "f" as in "Fotografer". That will do for now, but I could get on with a long list.

Well, OK, just one. Along Popgun's lines, exspecially, instead of especially. [/ QUOTE ] I was looking to see if that one was in there. Swamphunter
Re: Mispronounced words: One more thing I see on here a lot "prolly", is not a word. And the phrase "I could care less". Stated this way means you do have room to care less, so in fact you do care at least a bit. It should be "I couldnt care less"...this means that I am at the absolute lowest level of caring about something. I could not care any less....... wtnhunt
Re: Mispronounced words: Hear the ax or aks a question a lot around here. Really irritates me. One I think is cute, my 5 year old used to call her stuffed animals aminals when she was younger. We probably let it go as cute for too long though and she still slips some now.
