1997xltlimited
I have the new expert, and with the current 95 degree weather, the cam will only sense to about 15-20 feet when the temps are that high? And one time when i screwed the cam to the tree, the battery plate came loose? Is anybody haveing any of these issues? Is it common for this cam? Thanks
wtnhunt
Re: Cuddeback Problems Think the heat sensitivity for any cams that use heat sensors when it is that close to the body temperature of the animals will be hindered somewhat. I would call about the battery plate.
1997xltlimited
Re: Cuddeback Problems thats what I was thinking, when it was cooler, the cam worked just fine. Might have to call about the battery plate??
Buckslayer
Re: Cuddeback Problems I have that cam, and its been very sensitive for me.... I have however experienced the battery problem you mentioned - I resolved it by not tightening the screw down to the tree so tight. If its too tight, it flexes the plastic, causing the plate to come loose.
Bownarow
Re: Cuddeback Problems The sensitivity is definately heat related. I think it comes with all heat sensing cameras. I wouldn't think it is anything to worry about. Just look forward to cooler temperatures!
