IllinoisArcher
Well i was out driving my old chevy s-10 and i took a turn to sharp and the back-end came around and i over corrected and it slid sideways into the ditch and rolled on its side in a cornfield (i actually think the corn helped stop from rolling more) but the only damage done was the drivers side mirror broke off the front left tire went flat, the bottom part of the bumper that the liscence plate goes on broke the side that still holds the liscence plate is still there and theres two small dents. To fix the problem were getting a mirror at the salvage yard (45$) and taking a plunger to the dents we had a spare tire and u cant even notice the bottom of the bumper broke. Lukily we got it flipped over only took 3 ppl and got it drug out of the ditch before any cops came. Me and my friend are both fine im sore all over so i have a chiropracter appointment tomorrow in ottawa Il. And we drove the truck home Now here is where i need your opinnion should i find out who owns the field and pay him for the crop damage (5 rows deep as wide as the truck is long) i know thats not much corn prolly 10 dollars worth if that. Ill take pictures tomorrow i didnt have a camera to take a picture when it was flipped. but im off to bed cause like i mentioned above im really sore (i know this is one long run-on sentence im just tired lol)

BowJoe
Re: Rolled the truck I'd find out who the farmer is and at least make an offer. You may even make a contact for new hunting land. Never hurts to be honest unless you're married.
tallone
Re: Rolled the truck I would at least ask him if he wanted any money and I agree with BowJoe you might even get some hunting out of it. I'm sure the farmer wouldn't be expecting it and it shows your good character. Glad you're alright.
