Jeramie
I was "Searching" through the radio monday and a DJ said, "Be Caller 10!" Yadda.... Yadda.... I didnt know what they wanted us to call for but I called anyway. Turns out I was caller ten. I won some Tickets to a local base ball game. They are also giving away a 2007 Mustang Convertable tonight to one of the people who won tickets. Anyway, I go pic these things up about a mile from my office. Its blazin hot, roughly 107 (actual temps). I walk out of thier building and get into the car. She cranks right over and then idols rough as soon as I put it in gear. It dies..... I trie it a couple of times and it never would run right. Finally it just quit. This part of Tulsa is pretty much a business district so the nearest place to get a single part is several miles around town. Yep, im pretty much stuck. I found a shady spot and waited about 20-minutes. The car fired right up and then cut out.... Dead again. I worked on this thing for another 30-minutes in the blazing heat. Still nothing. Im about 90% sure its just a fuel filter. If there would have been a part store within a mile or so I would have picked one up (along with the quick connect wrenchs) and fixed the problem. Alast, I was still stranded. Finally my father in law called. He was heading my way with a Car hauler. The car started fine and drove up on the trailer but it ran rough and would have never made it home. I left the house at 4:00a.m. yesterday and finally made it home at 8:30.... Talking about a long day.
BowJoe
Re: That made for a long day..... I had the same problem with my wife's car. The Coil cover fried and then fried the sparkplugs and then the catalytic converter and then finally wouldn't start at all.
