LifeNRA Posted November 29, 2004 Report Share Posted November 29, 2004 Its a little late! But there is deer sign everywhere!!!!!!! Rubs, scrapes, beds, and poop! We were in at 1PM about 3PM my father called me and said a HUGE 8 or 10 pointer was moving out! Not alerted just walking out! We know since AR started we been seeing bigger bucks! We feel good about tomorrow morning! Less than 11 hours our rifle season opens! I will post any pics, So far in the last 15 years of hunting the area we have taken 13 bucks. My father got an nice eight pointer, I got a six pointer! He shot his at 8:45AM, I shot mine at 9:10AM. We are on private land that is between two public lands! I love it! For the first day of deer season with well over a million hunters in the woods and we saw nobody else in that mountain!!! Ill try to get some pics up tonite!
