Guest wisbowhntr
Man I can't wait till Thursday so I can start to hunt the late season . I am getting pumped up for it . I will beable to use my new climber stand too . Only bad thing is that the muzzleloaders have their season then and then the late T-zone hunt starts after that , so that means that I have to wear blaze orange till Dec. 12th . , then after that I can go back to wearing camo . Stinger-Hunter
Re: Late bowseason I'm looking forward to it also. I hate wearing hunter orange on the land that I hunt because the neighbors are incredibly rude and I know i'm the only one hunting out there. I like to be unheard and unseen. Two days ago, I'm trying to put the stalk on a deer during shotgun season and I look behind my shoulder and there is a guy on the other side of the creek (35 yards away). He's looking for me and following me. I went back to my original location about 150 yards away and the jerk walks right out in the open field that the deer were in and he's trying to locate me again. I called the house that he came out of and politely told them that I have permission to hunt out there so they don't need to try and play hide and seek. It wouldn't have happened if I had all camo on.
Guest Finn
Re: Late bowseason Man, I love the late bow season in Wis. No one else is around, the deer are more relaxed and the bucks are getting hungry! Opening day of gun season, there were 15 - 4 wheelers that my uncle heard on the county land snowmobile trail 1/4 mile from my stand

Jeramie
Re: Late bowseason Im really looking forward to mid December. I haven't been able to hunt much because of a million things and hopefully I can rectify that and get out for some archery hunting in December.
