wtnhunt
Re: Here\'s a good question Both here. I get out on my own mostly during early season and when the weather is not so nice, take my older daughter for the youth hunt and some during the regular season. Will be getting my 5 year old out with me abit more this season too. Gotten to where the wife gets the rifle opener and some prime days during the rut. Guest Finn
Re: Here\'s a good question Both. I love relaxing out in the woods. I love hunting with my Dad, son, brothers, uncles and cousins. Nothing like it.
kooter
Re: Here\'s a good question right now for me it is time to be alone and relax. I have 2 daughters who are 4 and 2. I think I may take the 4 year old out with me this year a couple of times during the early part of the season. I am sure when the both are older they will be with me all the time. AdvantageTimberLou
Re: Here\'s a good question Both here too, I like it because it relieves me of stress after a long day of work and when my wife goes I like to share stories on the hunt and what I seen and what she seen that day. Family, Friends and the Outdoors, now where did I hear that saying before? LOL!!
elkoholic
Re: Here\'s a good question Interesting question. Like most, I believe it is a mixed passion. I enjoy sharing hunting experiences with the family. My children accompanied me on hunts when they but two years of age and although those hunts were limited, we have great memories from them. The wife gave up hunting due to physical problems and I miss not being able to have her in this part of my life. My kids are now in their mid 20's and still hunt with me on occasion. But....there is nothing like being out there in the mountains by yourself. I can not even begin to describe the feeling, and that you can not share. BowJoe
Re: Here\'s a good question I hunt with friends most of the time. This may sound selfish but I kinda like that my wife doesn't hunt. I like to have some things exclusive and my time to get away from everything and just enjoy that time to myself. I don't think we'd get along too well if we were together constantly. Straight Shooter
Re: Here\'s a good question Both, I do take my time bowhunting, but take my son gun hunting. I can't wait until he's old enough to bowhunt.

Turkeygirl
Re: Here\'s a good question I mostly hunt by myself. Andy really only hunt during archery and shotgun deer season, hunts rabbit every now and then. I actually enjoy hunting by myself, even though there are those times I wish I had a good buddy but oh well, less noise, lol. I enjoy it when I have a successful kill and come home and tell mom because she enjoys eating the wild food God blesses us with.
Steven
Re: Here\'s a good question It used to be a family thing. My dad never hunted, but I'd hunt with my 2 uncles, one passed away in 1998 and the other moved to Kansas, so I hunt with him about every other year. Now I hunt solo most of the time. Guest whitetailarcher
Re: Here\'s a good question [ QUOTE ] I'd say both [/ QUOTE ] I'd agree, Our whole family archery hunts and we spend time scouting and planning, but out sitting we're by ourselves for hours and then we meet after the sit for lunch (or supper if its an evening sit) and exchange stories about the hunt.
