Strut10
I'm a lot happier this time!!!!!!! I switched to IMR-4320 powder (and Sierra GK's). Loading 8 gr. less powder than with the XMR-4350, the 4320 is giving me 166 fps more!!! Recoil, although still brisk, is noticably less, too. I also have a few grains more to go & no pressure signs whatsoever. This is more the direction I was hoping things would go.
iron buck
Re: 375 back to the bench........... Sounds great strut! What kinda groups are you getting? I put a simms recoil pad on my 338 yesterday. It makes practice WAY more comfortable. Are you still using the factory pad on your 375? Strut10
Re: 375 back to the bench........... IB......... I'm getting one hole groups. But I'm only shooting 25 yards, right now. I usually do my chrono'ing at 25 yards until I find the loads I think will be "keepers". Then I move to 100, 200, 300. I have the Sims pad, too. I like it. The gun still rocks you. But there's no pain factor.
