Canadian_Goose
My dog is devolping thick, crumby scabs at the two knobs at the rear of his head and on the side of his face. We think it might be heat rash as it happened last summer but we are not sure. He is a yellow lab. Any advice/input would be great.
Palssonater
Re: Dog question Is you dog kenneled during the day? I know my dog got thick scabs on his elbows from being in the kennel. Now that he's out of the kennel most of the time, they dissapeared. Good luck with the cause!

huntn4bucks
Re: Dog question [ QUOTE ] Bud.....take him to the vet......it could be allergies [/ QUOTE ] I was thinking the exact same thing. My lab gets allergies every summer and practically rubs her eyes raw if left untreated.
Smitteken
Re: Dog question My lab had something similar on here ears. But it was from flies biting her so many times. I guess that was the only spot on her they could get to the skin. It didn't bother her, but I started putting antibiotic ointment on it. It kept the flies off and healed up pretty quick.
