NORTHEAST SMACKDOWN III

Recommended Posts

Want to get a thread started to see who is interested and what dates we want to do this. We decided last year we would do this during deer season this year. We can do it either September 29 thru October 1, the only problem is that if you are a NY'er you would need a tag left from last year. The other date, which I think would be better is October 6 thru October 8. If anyone wanted to come up on Thursday the 5th that would be fine too. Please let me know. It will be held a our camp and I should have a couple food plots set up this year. Plus the 3-D course will be huge, as I have 10 targets myself this year and will borrow some from our club for a real nice shoot.

Let me know who is interested and what dates would work for you.

Ranger, will let you know when it gets a little closer. In the past we all just bring something and usually have a ton of food.

I hope we van get some more people here, like the Vermont boys and anyone else who wants to make the trip. It will be a great time like always.

Ok, what would get me my NY hunting license? I have a little card from back in 1975 that says I passed my hunters safety course(if I can find it!). What about last years PA license? Do I need a bowhunters Ed. class?

Wow you guys are tough up there! crazy.gif

Ranger depends on how many we have. We have enough beds to sleep 10. If we need we can do tents. Hopefully we will have the addition on, have to wait an see. You probably will need a sleeping bag.

Still hoping Swampy and Wiggs will make it this year.

Just having my PA hunting licsence and Hunters Ed. card suffice? Or do I need to go through the NY trainning? Like the bowhunters Ed. class?
