ousoonerfan22
Re: bases for my 30-06 Can you drill another hole in the base or have a gunsmith drill and tap an extra hole in the gun?
OJR
Re: bases for my 30-06 Take it to a good gunsmith and I am sure that he will be able to help you!
Jeramie
Re: bases for my 30-06 Yep, retap the gun.... However, tapping a base is a pretty good idea! Less holes in the gun!
wtnhunt
Re: bases for my 30-06 Would follow Orlans advice and take the gun to a good gunsmith.
Jeramie
Re: bases for my 30-06 Either case, drilling and tapping should be cheap!

Guest aaronchase
Re: bases for my 30-06 the one thing that i forgot to mention was that it is a full mauser action and the saftey gets in the way of the scope ... but thanks guys for the suggestions
