Jeramie
I have a tendency to hurt myself.....quite often. Ive learned to live with it over the years. I know im not the only "Target" out there but I sure can find a way to get hurt in just about any situation. Ive been blinded from fishing line (and had to have laser surgery), hit my hand with a running chainsaw, had my finger tip pinched off with a 2.5 ton metal sheer, had my head layed open from a spreader bar (cleaning a deer), and way to many more to list.... Currently im limping around from rolling my ankle over 2-weeks ago. I had to wear tennis shoes to my stand because my boots were really wet. I stumbled....followed by pain that felt like fire and a rolling moaning fit on the ground. Needless to say I went on to the woods but I still have a ton of pain in my ankle/ foot. Im usually injured at any given time although I have to admit ive never fallen through a ceiling and been caught by my nose. Who else has a tendency to live life on the edge? Swamphunter
Re: Who\'s accident proned? I have broken/ dislocated two fingers, cut my hand bad enough that it required sutures inside and out, sprained both my ankles (in one day), drove a 3" piece of wood sideways through the palm of my hand that had to be removed by a surgeon, and broke the bone in the top of my foot...all in one year. Rhino
Re: Who\'s accident proned? Not me! I've only had about 120 stitches in me from 5 different serious cuts (the worst one requiring 48), broken toes, a broken finger, back rehap, shoulder rehab, a broken femur (right leg) numerous sprained ankles, cuts, abrasions, and contusions but they still call me "Lucky"! lil hunter
Re: Who\'s accident proned? Not too much has happened to me(yet) Brokin foot last year. 3 years back I cut my thumb, 13 stitches later(8 came out in about 3 days.haha) it was all good. When I was really young, a door went right over my big too, and cut it. 3 stitches for that one. Other than hurtin my ankles a few times, I've never really been hurt that bad. buckbuster11
Re: Who\'s accident proned? Surprisingly I would have to say I am not (knock on wood....I'll probably go out and break my ankle tomarrow). No broken bones except for a small one in my hand. I have had a few scrapes and cuts and fishing hooks in my thumb.....but thinking of some of the accidents I have been in its a miracle I havent had worse. Michiganbowhunter_SQ2
Re: Who\'s accident proned? [ QUOTE ] Currently im limping around from rolling my ankle over 2-weeks ago. [/ QUOTE ] i am ALWAYS rolling my ankles....at least once a month i do it...this past summer i was walking out of a restaurant and rolled my ankle....a week later i was walking out by our pond and stepped in a hole with the same ankle (wasn't even healed up yet)..THE VERY NEXT DAY...i stepped IN THE SAME HOLE!!! and hurt it again...i have about 5 or 6 of those aircasts they give you when you sprain your ankle...in one weekend...me and my dad were really bad...he sat in a brand new chair and it broke..we woke up to next morning and the van had not one but 2 flat tires, he rolled down a hill...(and i mean rolled) probably about 30 feet...and i got a hook to a fishing lure stuck in my head and had to go to the hospital (don't ask)
archerjg
Re: Who\'s accident proned? Yep I am. I have split my head open front to back, I also poked a hole in my head as well, shattered my wrist, various slices and cuts and damage to my legs, arms, chest, and face. I have learned to live with it and now it doesn't even phase me if I cut myself I have done it so many times. I have also gotten my left ankle caught between the seat and hydraulic lift arms of the tractor ripping all of the tendons to within a 1/2 inch of completely snapping, and just after I got off the crutches for that I rolled the right ankle far enough around so that I could see the bottom of my foot again ripping all of the tendons in that ankle as well. I can roll either ankle and continue on as if nothing happened it no longer hurts me. I can't think of anything at the moment. all of this has happened since I was 5 years old. oo_buck
Re: Who\'s accident proned? That'd be me. Accident prone, definitely...... BTW: Jeramie, did you notice how many of us accident prone guys are on the same "Rackmasters" team?? Kind of scary, isn't it?
Palssonater
Re: Who\'s accident proned? In grade 3 I fell through the floor of a hay loft and broke both my wrists. From grade 4 to grade 8 I had at least one sprained ankle a year. Then there was the finger cut with stitches. Then I walked into the back door of a minivan and lost my front tooth(this one was the most expensive). I wasn't' even drinking. Just going to work after a bad Physics test. I would call myself "prone to accidents".
Turkeygirl
Re: Who\'s accident proned? Boy what some of you guys have had happens make me seem not injury prone. Well I'm more of the athletically injury proned. I bruised my one knee pretty good in basketball camp years ago, sprained my ankle another year while coaching at camp, I possibly have a slight meniscus tear from playing on the homeschool basketball team and intramurals at college, a slight concussion last spring playing indoor intramural soccer, a re-bruised knee playing outdoor soccer this fall, a scar from cutting myself when cutting watermelon and a scar on my knee from when I was really young and kneeled right onto the pointed end of a nail. Other than a sore knee right now, I'm fine, lol!
