BowJoe
Re: dog name (lab) I like Archer or Bow. Zeek is always a favorite if he's big and bulky. I like Junior or if you're a Gordon fan, you could name him an Indian name like "Light in Loafers" or "Dances with Men" or is that too many syllables? ROFLMAO. TxStarr
Re: dog name (lab) Our chocolate lab is named Abigail (Abby for short) and we have two yellow lab pups ... mine is Tye and hubby's is Grizz (because the little stink growled like a grizzly bear at the cat when we brought him home!) and my mother-in-law (has the litter mate to our two yellow ones) named her little man Cotton -- because he looked like the dog on the Cottonelle commercials and her grandkids BEGGED her to name him Cotton!! Good luck and enjoy your new baby ... they are so much fun until they start chewing up things (the babies ate an entire rose bush -- I have yet to find a piece of the darn thing and it was taller than me! which earned them banishment to the dog pens!!!). QDMAworks4me
Re: dog name (lab) [ QUOTE ] ACE [/ QUOTE ] I had a black lab named Ace, he was an awesome dog. I just got another black lab which is about 7 months old, he reminded me so much of my first lab I went with the same theme and called him Duce. muggs
Re: dog name (lab) Wow...where did this come from? Nope, didn't get the dog. Still considering it. I'd really like to have one, but I'm also planning on buying a boat in the near future. We'll probably be spending our weekends on the boat, not sure I want to have to board a dog or find someone to watch him the every single summer weekend. I've always wanted a lab though...so who knows. btw- I'd named it Tebow, but I don't want it to be slow and clumsy.

Lake Erie has a few islands that our where everyone stays...so we'd be sleeping 2 nights in the cabin (of the boat) while the boats docked in a marina. We'll also be enjoying some of the nightlife on the Islands, so the dog would have to be left behind. Bringing the dog is sorta doable...just not sure how practical. If I can talk my Dad into watching it on summer weekends, than we're money...not sure he's gonna want to do that though.
