Guest outdoor_adventurer
i want to get some digital scouting cameras... but i dont have a lot of money. i want a cuddeback but can't really afford that right now.. i was wondering if there was any other types of cameras anyone prefers that will take good pics but not cost an arm and leg. i have a moultrie and i like it a lot. alot of people have problems with it but i haven't had a problem yet so.... lets hope my luck doesn't run out... so if you have any suggestions about digital scouting cameras that don't cost an arm and leg... leave a post.. Squirrelhunter91
Re: scouting camera help?? I have a Wildview Xtreme II and the only complaint I have about it is that the flash sometimes goes off during the day and the pic gets totally whited out.. Other than that, no problems at all. bowhtr1
Re: scouting camera help?? The best for your buck woud be to make your own but if I didnt make my own I would buy a Leaf River camera. I had a few moultrie before I started making my own. They were all 35 mm cameras. I didnt have any problems with them. My cousing bought 2 of the 1.3 meg pixel cams and the batteries didnt last one night. He brought them back and got two more with the same results. ??? Glad you got a good one. wtnhunt
Re: scouting camera help?? Leaf river is about the best in my opinion you can get for the money. KTMMIKE has them down pretty reasonable. Might check out arrows post asking the same question, here is a link to cabelas listing of the leaf river cams cabelas . The cheapest cam leaf river has out is a good camera and should be able to find them under the $250 cabelas is selling them for.
