Question for you GL2 users

Re: Question for you GL2 users

Not familiar with the gl2. I am assuming it is a video camera, you will probably have to use a firewire cable to capture your video on your computer. Then you will have to have the right software loaded to capture and view what you load.

You will need to use the video lines that came with the cam. Using the software on your computer, whether Studio, Premiere, Movie Maker, or whichever you have, it will take you through the capture process with ease. It will actually start and stop the camera which will be in VCR mode for you as it tranfers.

Not quite sure the GL2 comes with the needed wire to capture your footage. You'll need a *Firewire (also known as *IEEE, *1394 or *ILink.)

Our GL2 came with a USB wire for use in getting still photos to the computer. USB isn't capable of getting video to the computer from the GL2.

Hope this helps.
