knobby
Re: NFAA in SD Yes and it was a great time, really the weather was nice compared to last year and the shooter numbers were also up. Did you attend? I only shot the 3-d portion, field just isnt my thing plus it got hotter as the week went on so the 3-d was timed just right. rifleman25
Re: NFAA in SD no I didn't shoot at it, but I was there for a day. I forgot to see who all was going to be coming. I ask because the event was held in my home town. Scott and Bruce at Dakota Archery have been selling my all my hunting and fishing gear for almost 20 years now. I'm not saying I like or dislike them but they are local and good at what they do. Maybe next year we can plan a get together around that time and have a BBQ at my place or something. Did you like the course? How does it compare to others? That is where I get in most of my bow practice. Knobby where did you travel to Yankton from? knobby
Re: NFAA in SD I am from Iowa about 30 mins south of Des Moines, the ranges were tougher than last year, and i dont think there will be a BBQ next year either since, as far as what i have been told by NFAA officials, there will be no 3-d nationals next year, only the field championships in Darrington, Washington. Which is a royal bummer because i really love shooting up there and it is nice not to have to travel 10+ hours to go to a national event. Dakota
Re: NFAA in SD I didn't go, but my archery instructer was there shooting. Don Nankivel is his name, don't know if any of you met him or not. Dakota
