rifleman25
I just purchased a new Ruger M77 and had a jewell trigger put in. What I'm wondering is I noticed the barrel is not the longer barrel like Browning uses. I have shot this round enough to know it preforms it's best with a longer barrel and a slow burning powder. Will this 24 inch barrel effect the preformance by not burning all the powder? If ho how much difference will it make?
Guest Snider
Re: 26-06 barrel length I shoot the M77 25-06 also with the 24 in barrel... Its a good gun but I would rather have a 26 in on it... but I also dont reload for it... I know a guy who shoots the M77 varmint rifle and he gets could consistent groups with reloading
