Strut_Buster
I want to lower my trigger pull. We have several model 70's and I was wondering if theres a trick to lowering the trigger pull. Or, am i better off just goin to a gunsmith? It cant be that hard. I can't find anything in the manual about lowering it and i feel 8 lbs of pull is kinda tight.

AJ
Re: Trigger weight? Yep, unless you know what you are doing, take it to a gunsmith. Is the $45-$50 that the gunsmith charges, worth your or someone elses life? For weight, I don't own a rifle with a trigger heavier than 3 pounds. Varmint guns I have go between 2 ounces and 2 pounds for trigger pulls. Deer guns are between 2 and 3 pounds.

johnf
Re: Trigger weight? My guns are all around 3 lbs. They were 7 and it gave me problems shooting free hand. I had them dropped to 3 and it fixed my problems.
Strut_Buster
Re: Trigger weight? ALright. I think that the best call also but i was just wondering if there was a simple way to do it. Like a screw i was missing or sumthing. I'll just take it to a gunsmith as recomended. Thanks yall!
