bowhtr1
Re: Outdoor Camcorder Questions I have has alot of good results with Sony. I have one that lasted for years. I dropped it from my stand twice. I fell in a creek on vacation with it and let it dry out and it started working again but the lens has a halo around it when I film. I bought another one the DVD92. It is small and does it all. There are plenty of good ones out there but Sony is at the top of my list.

wtnhunt
Re: Outdoor Camcorder Questions Welcome to the forums. Will be using a sony here this year too. Have not had our handycam for very long, but really pleased with it so far. Someone posted about a cannon gl2 in here, might ask them how they like it. Guest PixelDoctor
Re: Outdoor Camcorder Questions I have run a Canon XL1 for a year now and I love it... Expensive to buy and expensive to maintain, but a awesome camera. The only thing it lacks is a LCD screen, but you can add one as an accessory. Better zoom than the Sony, and low light capabilities are acceptable, but not awesome, that is why I bought a sSony with Nightshot to use in the wee hours.
