Yea well long story short! We were in my buddies 2002 Chevy 2500 HD 4x4! Were hauling out my cousins deer! So were driving over a hill aand then all of a sudden stop on a dime! YUP you guessed it Bottomed out! That happened at 6PM! I have a 5 hour drive ahead of me cause I have to drive to my parents house then to my house which is about 1 half apart! So we start working digging jacking up jacks lifting the truck getting it ready! Tried 1000 things to get it out! No other trucks around! Long story short we didnt leave till 9:30 that night! I didnt get home till 6:30am and had to be at work by 7:00am! Nice HUH???

Here are a few pics!

Re: BAD LUCK!!!!!!

i feel your pain......i went turkey hunting by mysef a few years , & i pulled off the road to check one of our fields for turkey sign. i get back in my truck to leave & i start spinning, so i have to put it in 4wheel to get out but it won't go in so i have to pull up a little to get it in.........& down i went, all the way down to the bottom of my doors!!!!!!! we had to get a tractor to dig me out. after a guy in a dodge dully got stuck trying to get me out.......what a freaking nitemare that was.

Re: BAD LUCK!!!!!!

Man oh man...that looks stuck....that's when winches on the front and back come in handy!

Saw this neat little rig one time that hooked into your reciever hitch and you only had to run the 12volt connection or hydraulic hookup to the back. A little bit of $$$ could have made the job a lot easier!

I have gotten stuck so many times...hard work... grin.gif
