Guest andymansavage
I was at wally world the other day looking around and saw scopes in the clearance aisle. They had the simmons blazer 3x9x50 on sale for $20 dollars. By no means a high end scope it seems like a good buy for the money. I put it on my new win 88 and love it. Meade has really made some improvements since they bought simmons a couple years ago. This scope has some really cool design features not available on other scopes. Cabelas has them for about 50 bucks. I am tempted to go back and buy the rest of them. I will post a pic later. Andy
Jeramie
Re: got a good deal i think At that price they would work well for .22's and such. Thats what I did when the Tasco Pronghorn was out. It was a moderate 4x scope for $20. You wouldnt win many matches with one but for a ML you rarely shoot or a .22lr it was perfect. Through trading and such they finally slipped through my fingers. Sometimes those little cheap scopes are worth the purchase. I just started liking the Redhead line. You can get some decent glass CHEAP. I payed $100 for a 6x18x50mm. Its very, very clean too.
