007hunter
Re: Sean Casey to the tigers. And the Pirates got a "prospective pitcher" out of the deal....What kind of trade is that? Anytime I trade I try to get something of equal or greater value... Oh wait, this is just part of the "plan" Detroit, you got suckered into that deal.... PAbowhunter4life
Re: Sean Casey to the tigers. It amazes me the lengths that the Pirates organization will go to to make themselves look like idiots lol. The best part about it was this has been a done deal for a while, they just had to wait until today because Saturday was Sean Casey bobble hea dnight at PNC lol

I knew when the didn't have him in the lineup for his bobblehead giveaway he was already out of here. I just didn't think that #$^#&$^#& Littlefield would be dumb enough to give away a career .300 hitter and great clubhouse guy for a freaking AA pitcher straight up. They made 4 trades yesterday and got 1 major league player out of all of that and he is average at best.
muggs
Re: Sean Casey to the tigers. I'm really starting to think there's a conspiracy going on here. All the so called "small" and "mid" market try to put together a "contender" (yeah right) and then become the real contenders, ya know, the "major" market teams farm clubs half way through the year. Wouldn't be surprised if they get huge amounts of cash for it order some code name, like "profit-sharing" or something...what a joke. Guest woodsnwater
Re: Sean Casey to the tigers. That is a great deal for Casey. He now has a chance to go the playoffs. Casey is a great guy and an ambassador for baseball. He will probably miss his hometown but will enjoy the Tiger success.

Thought about it some more, let's add the A's, Angles, Devil Rays, and Brewers to that list.
