boomer
I'm look at getting a Allegiance in Max-4 whats your opinion on this bow. I dont know anybody with a bow-tech. 257bob
Re: Bow-Tech? I shoot the Tribute. I am shooting a 361 grain arrow 317 fps. One of my friends has the Allegience and he is shooting a 350 grain arrow 331 fps (crackerized). They are both outstanding bows. I think the Tribute has a little less hand shock, but its very, very small differences. You won't be unhappy with either bow. I would like to have one of each. Leo
Re: Bow-Tech? I don't have one but I have heard so many good things about the Bowtech Old Glory that if I was in the market for a new bow I guarantee I would at least test shoot one a couple times. PAbowhunter4life
Re: Bow-Tech? I'd go with a Tribute. I am not a Bowtech fan by any means but it is BY FAR their best offering on the table yet. The Tribute is smoking fast, quiet and vibration free; if it were just a little smoother drawing it could be a Mathews lol
Guest nthewild
Re: Bow-Tech? i have a tribute and love it to death. that being said, i haven't shot the allegiance. it is a little longer, so it may be a little more forgiving, plus it is a little faster. either way, i don't think you can go wrong if you want a bowtech. best advice is go to your dealer and shoot both of them. ask them a few questions and you will leave a happy hunter
Buckslayer
Re: Bow-Tech? Both are sweet bows. I have shot the allegiance. Its nice! I don't have the money for it or the tribute though, so I'll just stick to my Ex VFT. Yes I'm baised because I'm a Bowtech fan. Most would agree that they make a great bow though. okiedog
Re: Bow-Tech? Retire the SQ2?! I have been thinking about buying a Switchback, but I just put a new cable and string on my SQ2 and can't part with it now. I have heard good things about the Bowtech though. 257bob
Re: Bow-Tech? The forgiveness is about the same on both bows. They both have a 25" riser, the only difference is the limb angle. The tribute has a longer brace height due to the more parallel limb angle. If any of these bows were more forgiving I would have to say it is the Tribute. The Tribute brace-7.5" and the Allegience is 7".
wheelin99xj
Re: Bow-Tech? I shot both quite a bit and went with the allegiance with smooth mods. Couldn't tell much of a difference in between the tribute and allegiance in smoothness, both are very good bows and you wouldn't be dissappointed in either one. I would suggest shooting both with the speed mods and the smooth mods. I am very glad I went with the smooth mods and it is still very fast. I am shooting a 28" draw and it is shooting just over 300 fps with a 365 grain arrow. You will really enjoy whichever you choose just shoot both as much as you can. Good Luck
Guest KenMaxwell
Re: Bow-Tech? I am totally sold out to Bowtech i shoot the Mighty Mite and it rocks when i got the bow i had it at 70#s and it was fast i backed it to 60# and it still shoots 296fps fast and smooth and i have shot everything my best friends are bow techs, ive shot kodiac hoyt mathews parker every brand and almost everybow made and as of right now nothing compares to bowtech to me. my brother shoots a kodiac and its fast and smooth, but honestly he likes his parker better. my friends say wait till the end of the year and bowtech is coming out with something knew well see, how much better can these bows get maybe 0-50 one pine

boomer
Re: Bow-Tech? Thanks for all the input. Ended up putting the allegiance on layaway. Shot both bows and both felt the same to me. I like the max-4 better then the hardwoods on the tribute.
