Guest psycho
I havent had a chance to pick it up yet and when I did go to get it, it was sold out. Anyways I heard they did not do the archery shoot this year on the video... Why? I always look forward to those shoots. What are they doing in place of that? Guest flbowhunter
Re: Monster Bucks 14 Realtree really missed the mark this year with Volume 14. There is no archery contest. There is no music leading up to the shot in each hunt to add excitement to the hunt. It is simply a "Wham, Bam, Thank you ma'am" hunt after hunt video, where the kill shot happens in the first 30 seconds of each hunt. While the footage is good, and if you just like to watch kill shots, you will like it. But it's not entertainment as in years past. I own every Realtree video made, but I am becomming a much bigger fan of Primos, as their videos are much more entertaining and fun to watch. Just my .02 since you asked.... Guest Mcmullin
Re: Monster Bucks 14 I just the both volumes in the mail, but havent had a chance to watch them. When I do I will give my two cents.
BowJoe
Re: Monster Bucks 14 I watched both and I have to say that normally by now I have watched them at least 3 or 4 times. This year however, I ordered them before they even came out and have only watched them once. No archery shoot. No comedy. Some music. Basically no fun. Hunt after hunt after hunt and no entertainment. I can't wait to see Primetime Bucks 10. I like it more and more every year. Realtree better get their heads on straight or Primetime will be the only ones I buy next year. Realtree needs to make a few adjustments next year. Bring back the Archery tournament, Jeff Foxworthy, T-Bone and the dramatic music. Who cares what the Critics say. If it ain't broke then don't fix it. Guest psycho
Re: Monster Bucks 14 I agree 100%.. I may not get them now... The archery shoot and the T-Bone/Foxworthy thing made the videos entertaining.. I may not get them this year... I was really looking forward to it too.. They need to step back a few years like they had it on MB 7 and 8..those were the real good videos.. Realtree... I hope you listen to us... Forget what the critics say... Do your thing and make these videos entertaining again

Realtree had the right idea with adding a little entertainment to their videos, but now they may see a downfall in dales this year...although I havent been able to catch them at Wal Mart yet before they sold out... Probably see a bunch on Ebay soon
tedicast
Re: Monster Bucks 14 Honestly, when I buy a hunting video..I don't want all the extra crap. While I have no problem at all with Jeff Foxworth, and T-Bone...their skit was growing really old, as was the archery competition. Me personally, I don't buy a hunting video to watch the guys trying to be funny. If they want to put some extra stuff in it, I would rather they sat down after each hunt, and discussed the shot placement, how far the deer went, how long it took to recover. That is stuff as a hunter, I am interested in. Just my opinion.

I generally fast-forwarded through the extras.

rcd567
Re: Monster Bucks 14 I won't buy the next set if they don't put the Archery tourney back in. The reason I like Roadtrips so much is the "personality" factor. This years DVD's were like any other I can get at the Iowa Deer Classic cheaper. See deer, see deer drop, repeat. I'm sorry but this is DULL.
