need2hunt Posted August 14, 2006 Report Share Posted August 14, 2006 Re: 2006 deer contest I'm so proud of all of you, your patience has increased greatly since last year (last year you started asking about it at the beginning of June or sooner ) All of the needed thread are up now for you to sign-up, etc. Also because it was mentioned in here I will comment that I did put a 50 post minimum to enter this year. Personally I do not like that as a rule because I see the low posters as a wild card (you never know what your going to get) and I also see it as a way of getting some of the "only readers" to get involved and become a participating member of the forums. However I have limited time this year do to my new job and it will take a considerable amount of time out of the team drawing part of the contest for me. After this years contest I will evaluate it and decide if we will continue with the restriction in future years or go back to having open ended.
