ousoonerfan22
If we don't get some rain I'm afraid I will be wasting seed again this fall. I've been watering these trees I planted for over a year,I lost some of them. This week I tried to dig a hole to plant a pine tree and the ground is so hard I couldn't get it done with a shovel. Gator
Re: another tough year for oklahoma food plots? It is looking pretty bad. I wonder what will happen if we do get some rain, and the winter wheat plots take off. I know the state plants ALOT of these on public ground, may be in for a record harvest if that happens. stick
Re: another tough year for oklahoma food plots? normally the deer are not touching my feeders this time of year, but I have about a dozen does and fawns that stay there every day. And I have had that feeder there for 8 years now.
okiedog
Re: another tough year for oklahoma food plots? by this time of year we are deep into food plots. we usually plant a total of 8 acres for deer food plots. I can't remember the last time we got rain here. So the plot planning is on hold. can only hope it gets better, but who knows.
