Guest HoytShooter8
I dig the new Max-1 camo pattern but I don't think I'll be able to use it much here in Georgia... Great pattern... What do ya'll think about it and will you be able to use it in the area you hunt?

buckee
Re: The New Max-1 Camo It's definitely a work of art, but it was made specifically for the sage-brush open plains hunters in mind.

rifleman25
Re: The New Max-1 Camo [ QUOTE ] it's a great pattern for the west. i got a set last year, and it's perfect [/ QUOTE ] Steve B and I talked about it on a Nebraska hunt last fall. I thought we decided the color was a touch off for the sage. It is a good pattern though. I think it's about time a mainstream camo maker made a camo for those of us western big game hunters. Before that Kings outdoor world was King of this dept. They have a desert shawdow and a mountain shadow that are still awesome. We also has ASAT til the whitetail hunters discovered it. All good patterns for the west from the west. Mossy oak now has a brush camo too that will fill this bill.
hunterfisherman
Re: The New Max-1 Camo I hear it's working well in the midwest too. I like it. Once the leaves fall and things turn brown it will be great. I haven't really found anything from Realtree I didn't like.

Guest gwgdog66
Re: The New Max-1 Camo I have a set, and used it Turkey hunting this past spring. It fit the bill here in Oklahoma very nicely.
Team Realtree
Re: The New Max-1 Camo First things first. Many of us here used MAX-1 all spring long for turkey hunting in GA and FL. And many of us will be using it next month for early bow season. It does work down here (and especially well in pine. Secondly, Nice try Jim . We're having problems getting our hands on any MAX-1 right now. You have to remember, we do not manufacturer any camo product. It's all done by licensened manufacturers (separate companies). 257bob
Re: The New Max-1 Camo Great pattern. I just bought the RT Road Trips Scent Blocker jacket in that pattern for spot and stalk in western KS and OK. I will likely use that pattern a lot to hunt coyotes. Guest HoytShooter8
Re: The New Max-1 Camo My mistake, that's kind of why I asked.. It looked more like a pattern to be used in Texas, or Montana. If it works in Georgia, that works for me

need2hunt
Re: The New Max-1 Camo I used it turkey hunting in Missouri this year, here's the first of my two bird limit... Also heres a pic with me in the shade leaning up against a tree... I think it works really well, I'll be using it during the first Illinois shotgun season as well as trying it on and off during Illinois bow season. elnor
Re: The New Max-1 Camo My local Bass Pro carries some, but the selection of items is fairly sparse. If/when I get the elk or antelope hunt I've been vying for, though, I'm definitely going to have to get an outfit together. I'd love to see it available for gun dipping, too, btw.
