Guest jon3
I have 20 +- acres i hunt and have some pretty good bucks on it and about 200 acres across the railroad tracks that is not hunted. But I am unsure if the adjoining land owners who are 400 to 500 yards away ride their dirt bikes mostly on the weekends are driving the deer nocturnal on me? Pleaseee and sugg., answers, or tips on what i should do. I have a corn feeder out at this time.... Thanks to everyone

buckee
Re: Need Advice! on Nocturnal Deer If your neighbours ride their bikes all the time, the deer will get used to it. 400-600 yrds away is a good safty zone for a deer. I wouldn't worry too much about it. Welcome to the forums, and good to see you figured the posting thing out OK.
toddyboman
Re: Need Advice! on Nocturnal Deer Hunt all day during the rut!! Maybe one of those big boys will be cruising during the day for a hot doe.
Leo
Re: Need Advice! on Nocturnal Deer The corn feeder itself can contribute to the deer becoming nocturnal. It essentially becomes a guaranteed midnight snack.
AdvantageTimberLou
Re: Need Advice! on Nocturnal Deer Hard to change their habits, big bucks can be had, remember some primetime hunting is between 10 am to 2 pm when others are back at the truck eating lunch. This time period is a great time to get a buck checking scrapes or checking out his territory. They can't bed all day long, they do move. Never saw anybody go that fast in reverse.
