ODH
I am wanting to get some new arrows soon, and I'm thinking about all white arrows, easier to see and see the blood after the shot and they look good. I remember one of the members on here makes these, I've seen pics, but I can't remember who it was (maybe LifeNRA?) Anyway, if anyone has any opinions on other colors that would look good as well, just let me know. Thanks, Jon

LifeNRA
Re: all white arrows? Yeah it was me! LOL! Used these last year, but I like the all white better! Going to all white with white 2" Blazers now! No pics yet! Soon maybe!!!
Doc
Re: all white arrows? I am still using the XX-75 shafts from thirty years ago. I have piles of them. They are in a color called "autumn-orange". I'm not sure whether these are still available or not. I have never lost one of these in the woods, and the color shows up with or without snow. And yet I don't believe that I have ever spooked a deer because they were too bright. They also show up well against the brown of the deer so that hit location is made a lot easier. Actually, I haven't seen these on the matket in a long time. That figures. They always discontinue all the good stuff....lol. Doc
VTbowman
Re: all white arrows? I made these up last spring. The poster is right about the snow BTW. LOL Almost lost on in the snow.
GWSmith
Re: all white arrows? I remember watching a Drury video where they had white wraps on both the back And front of their arrows. I imagine they would look completely white while in flight. After last winter here in New York I went with white wraps and Blaze orange fletchings. Accrossed the street theres an open lot next to a house that has some small children in it. One of them must have thrown their play ball over the wooden fence and it sat there in the snow all winter. It was blaze orange and it stood out something Crazy every time I would go out the front door my eyes were drawn to it...hence my choice for my arrows:
LifeNRA
Re: all white arrows? Thing is about the snow. Where I am at, we very rarely get any snow until after the hunting seasons are over! So if I lose an arrow in the snow, so be it! But! If I hit a deer in the snow! Just look for the nice red trail! Or the red stained wrapped arrow! LOL! hutchies
Re: all white arrows? Same here. If it snows it is amazing but I'm like you. If it does snow I should be able to find a blood trail.

Doc
Re: Snow??? The fact is that once an arrow gets under the snow, no matter what color it is or what kind of flashy fletching or cresting, you are unlikely to find it without a metal detector or a good spring thaw....lol. ODH
Re: all white I still think that white arrows would be neat looking. Maybe a black shaft w/ white fletchings and wraps
ThethirdI
Re: all white I shoot Easton XX75 Camo Hunter arrows with 2 white fletchings and 1 Purple fletching. It may seem a little girly but I am color blind and I need something that creates a contrast against the fall leaves. Anything else would just disappear in the forest floor. I know this for a fact.
