Guest tyshe17
Well, I am happy and sad that 3d season is over for me. I had a great year, and some success for my first year back. I had planned on shooting one more shoot in North GA to try and win a buckle. I have shot 3 of the 4 clubs that are qualifiers, and had time off to shoot the 4th (I was going to drive down from Nashville to shoot it)...however, my grandmother passed away the middle of the week before so I was in Knoxville for services. I called the circuit organizer this week sure they would be understanding, but was wrong. I am not extreamly mad that I can't shoot, but it burned me up the way he started lecturing me about dedication and commitment. First of all that is not his place, second of all the fact that I took off from work to drive 5 hours to shoot(barring the family issues hadnt arisen) I think shows both. Anyways, not the best experience but whatever. On a more positive note... I did win the BPS (Nashville) Employee tournament this year which was great for braging rights, and the $75 gift certificate Finally, I have all my hunting arrows set, am in the process of moving my pin gap, setting down back tension and picking up the chocolate lite. Bow season in TN opens Sep. 23 which just happens to be my birthday. Anyways, good luck in any remaining competitions this year, and better luck during hunting season. Have a good one guys! Guest tyshe17
Re: Done with 3d for the year... Dont plan on it...I shot my first 5 spots this year at work and shot a 300 55x 300 49x 299 49x and 300 46x...the first was with fat boys the rest with cxl2's at 280...I really liked the backtension and the mental game of indoors!
