Yea I Know That I Am Comfortable In A 28 In...But My Cousin Has A 26 In That I Shot And It Was Ok But 28in Was Where I Was Most Comfortable And Even If The Bow I Bought Wasnt Set To 28 I Would Be Willing To Buy A New Cam Or Cams To Make It 28

Re: WTB Archery Items

Honestly...you are probably better off saving a little more money, and buying a used bow from a pro shop. By the time you spend $175 on a bow, that may or may not fit you, ( no one can shoot a 26" bow, and a 29" bow equally well)have to replace a string and cable, cam or draw length modules, and have it set up, plus whatever other accesories you will need. You are looking at $300, minimum. You would be a lot better off, going to a shop, getting measured, and looking at used bows that they took on trade in, or are selling on consignment. You say you don't want to dump money into something, and not be able to use it...The way you are going about this, it is exactly what is going to happen. If you get a bow that fits you, and is set up correctly, your learning curve will be that much shorter, and your whole experience will be better. Just my opinion, it isn't my money.

Re: WTB Archery Items

pse, bud if your gonna do something, you might as well do it right. Get your exact draw length and go from there.....an inch to long or short can mess your shot groupings up, not to mention teach your bad form as you alter yourself to shoot the bow that doesn't fit you. I know tons of pro shops around here that you can get nice nice mathews bows that are barely used for 225$ all day long. Do some shopping, and don't rush into and get stuck with something that you'll regret getting later. I wish I still had my old bow, it would been perfect for ya, but I sold it unfortunately. Would you like me to call the local pro shop here and see what i can come up with for ya?

I know this isn't what you want to hear, but you would be better off, not rushing into buying one, and buying a little better bow, that fits you. You might not be able to hunt this year, but with 3 a day practices, how much time will you have to really become proficient with your new bow. You would be a lot better off, having a new bow for the spring time, and having 8 months to practice with it, and be totally familiar with it.
