Bow Hunter Derek
4 out of 5 get returned. Or so I've read somewhere. I've never owned one, but everything I've read says the Leaf River 35 mm is the one to get. As I recall they are very reasonably priced. I own the Leaf River digital and no regrets. NY911Bowhunter
Re: Had to return Stealth Cam Its part of their charm! I would be worried if mine took the fim the first time - all of the time
VTbowman
Re: Had to return Stealth Cam I have one and to be honest I have not used it much. I set it up and had the same issues and then it would work but not rewind or what ever. Although it could of been me not doing something right I quicky saw that film, processing, and batteries could cost way more then I want to spend on it. LOL Although I fully agree that digitals are the way to go, the cost is just way to much still IMO. The Stealt Cam is a cheap way to try this out. Sadly they are not a 100% unit yet, or may never be. Some guys get lucky and some dont it seems. I am hoping to get mine back out there next summer but not full time. My next trail cam will be a digital but that may be years from now.... NY911Bowhunter
Re: Had to return Stealth Cam the SC can be finicky - but a definite solid performer whn all goes well. There are millions of them out there!
dogdoc
Re: Had to return Stealth Cam i've got two of them that have been going for about 1 1/2 years. you guys are right though--they can be a little finicky to load. it usually takes about 3 or 4 attempts to finally get it. it has become a goal to try to get it the first time--like a slam dunk in BB todd

AdvantageTimberLou
Re: Had to return Stealth Cam My buddy just got one, he too is having trouble with it. The film will not advance properly. I have a Moultrie and have had no problems. He says the camera is part of the Stealth unit, my Moultrie has a removable 35 mm camera you can use outside of the unit it goes into. He's trying different film but it sounds like his is going back and he's going to try another brand and model. Some have good luck with them though. Maybe he just got a bad one and a return and exchange may work for him. Lou
wtnhunt
Re: Had to return Stealth Cam Have had our stealth cam for about 15 months and using the cheap poloroid film we dont usually have any troubles getting film to load in it.
