okiedog
Just went and picked up my second roll of film this week. Needless to say, had a bunch of nothing on them. I've just about had it with the 35mm trailcams, wasting too much money on film. Time to go digital. So.... which ones are worth the money? How is the battery life? I cannot afford the top of the line stuff, but want the most bang for the buck. What are ya'll using?
TreeWalker
Re: Which digital trailcam to get? A buddy of mine has picked up a couple of the 2.1 Stealth digitals (I think it's 2.1, maybe it's 2.3)....anyways he paid $145.00 each for them, and he really likes them......they use 6-c batteries, and he has had great battery life....he said he's got nearly 6 weeks on the batteries and they're still going strong..... I myself prefer the Leaf River digitals.......I just picked up several used ones for $160.00 each, but if you want e to buy new I think they sell around $245.00......get the ones without the view screen.......check with KTMMike on these boards, cause he will give you as good a deal as you can get...... 257bob
Re: Which digital trailcam to get? Where are you developing your film. At Wal-Mart you can pay for the pictures that come out like you want. If I get a picture that doesn't have anything on it I don't pay for it. On the other hand, I would also like to have a digital. wtnhunt
Re: Which digital trailcam to get? The leaf rivers battery life really depends on how much night time activity. Have had energizer batteries last as long as three months with it.

[/ QUOTE ] Seems cudde has a leak issue, kind of curious why they are not honoring those problems as in warranty? Makes me question that company personally. Actually it's a cheaper version. (2.1 mgpx) Has a 6-volt rechargeable battery. It was $99 at Wal-Mart.

I just had mine out all weekend and it rained all night Saturday and all through sunday and no water in it. Completly dry on the inside. I would say cuddeback cameras are awsome some of the best pictures I have ever seen from trail cams I love mine!
