Turkeygirl
Ok, so I'm going to look at bows tomorrow at Gander Mountain, any suggestions? My draw weight is about 40-50 pounds, draw length about 26" and so far I've found that the Hoyt Rintec would be about the right draw length and draw weight. Anyone know of any other bows or suggest some bows to look for? I think I'll be in the youth category, lol, because most bows have too high a draw weight. Oh, and does Gander Mountain let you try out bows? Let me know any suggestions!
257bob
Re: Bow suggestions I don't know what you are going to spend, but the Bowtech Equalizer is so sweet. If you have a dealer in your area you have got to check them out before you buy. They are expensive ($650). The Hoyt Rintec would probably be my second choice. I am probably going to buy the Rintec for my wife for her first bow. I would definitely get the Bowtech Equalizer if I new she was going to get into it. 257bob
Re: Bow suggestions Didn't see the last part of your question. Yes, they will let you try them out. Saturday might be a tough time to get a lot of help. Go early tomorrow or during the week. I just started working for them last week. PAbowhunter4life
Re: Bow suggestions As stated, not sure what your budget is, but the Bowtech Equalizer and the Mathews Mustang are both top notch lower poundage bows.
Guest Finn
Re: Bow suggestions Ruth, I highly suggest you look at a Browning Adrenaline. I bought one for my son last year and it's a great bow. His is 40-50 pounds and I think an 8 or 10 inch draw length adjustment. This bow is light, fast and very quiet. I think I got his for $240 last year?
