pointing_dogs_rule
Well I just upgraded to a new expert Cuddeback last month and put it out in early July. I did not buy the "Bear safe" because Cabelas did not have any in stock at the store. I went and took it down today and found the squirrels had a feast while it was out there. It still works, however, it will have to be fixed. I hope Cuddeback can put a new cover on it. Second option is that Cabelas has NEVER refused to take back an item that I have returned, no matter how old or how it appeared. I have never had this happen before. (NOTE): I ordered a "Bear safe" two weeks ago an it sits on my counter-top. To bad I didn't have it right away. Good luck to all the dog [image][/image]
BowJoe
Re: **WARNING** squirrels eat CUDDEBACKS!!! That looks like a mouse did that. I could be wrong but don't know why a squirrel would do that. Crazy to say the least.

So I have a partial description. I am currently sending hair samples and saliva samples, that were left on the camera, to the local crime lab for DNA profiling. NOTE: I plan to hunt this area very hard the first week of squirrel season!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'll show you the mount when I get the little b******!!!!!! good luck to all the dog [image][/image]

RangerClay
Re: **WARNING** squirrels eat CUDDEBACKS!!! I've seen damage to plastic like this before and my guess is NOT a squirrel. It is a porcupine!! Notice how similar these bites are to your camera. I can take you up to my hunting camp and show you dozens of things that look like your camera that have been chewed up by those miserable creatures. Pictured is my best friends car that was chewed by a porky. They love plastic. Here is how you fix you problem. At the base of your tree set a 220 conibear. Use a piece of electrical tape and fasten a 1"X3" piece of FRESHLY cut plywood (must be plywood). Porcupines cannot resist plywood. It is like candy. Problem solved

DSGB
Re: **WARNING** squirrels eat CUDDEBACKS!!! Sorry tree rats chewed up the seat to my climber a couple years ago. .22 LR is the best revenge. LOL
Tom2008
Re: **WARNING** squirrels eat CUDDEBACKS!!! I would of said porcupine too. The teeth marks look right for a smaller sized one, but I suppose if there aren't any in Iowa then it probably is a squirell.
