Tominator
Re: Tick repellant I just heard about one last week that is new. It does not contain deet, so apparently it's odor free. I haven't used any yet. The product is called Picaridin. Here's a review: http://walking.about.com/od/suncare/gr/cutteradvanced.htm
wtnhunt
Re: Tick repellant Have not seen the one Chris mentioned. No stinkin bugs has an odor to it, but it is a form of a cover scent. It works ok.
vagobbln
Re: Tick repellant I use Permanone during turkey season and it works great. Spray it on clothes only though. It's odorless once it dries (I think).

Leo
Re: Tick repellant Permanone is actually more than just permithrin. It uses an added ingredient that makes it especially deadly to crawlies. If a tick crawls on clothing treated with it he's finished. But if a tick can get to the inside of your clothing that's untreated it will. Tuck your shirt and tape your boot cuffs.
