wtnhunt
Finished it off yesterday. Think it turned out ok for the first one, will definitely do some things different on the next one I build, but it works really well, and the range on the pixcontroller sensor is great. Bond
Re: new homebrew finished(pics) Good job! Looks a lot better than my first one. Did you check for water leaks and flash bleed yet? What did you use to cut the square flash hole? Looking forward to some pics!

[/ QUOTE ] Yep, used the sprayer in the sink and no leaks, did have to do a little more sealing to get it there though. Checked in a closet for flash bleed and while it left me temporarily blinded , the pics looked good . For the square hole, used 6 holes drilled with I think about a 5/16 or 1/4 bit if I remember right. Then used a utility knife to cut the tabs between holes, then cleaned it up with a file. Dont know why my second pic is so big, I edited it and is is still the same size

Filed the edges of the pixcontroller leII board down a bit for a little better fit. Kind of snug, but helps hold the cam in place.

[/ QUOTE ] Spent just under $150 for everything I needed for this camera including a 32 mb memory stick that came with the camera. Is a 3.2 mp camera. Still have to get another memory stick for it. Any idea what trigger time, and batter life will be like? [/ QUOTE ] Not sure yet about the battery life, using rechargeable nimh energizers(2500 mah) in the camera and a 9 volt energizer for the control board. Think I read or maybe Bond told me that the 9 volt battery could last as long as 6 months. Trigger times look to be pretty good. Bond told me to expect 1.5 to 2 seconds, think he really close.
