mathews4life
do you guys/gals have to drive to get to your hunting land? For me its about 30 minutes! Sometimes i wish it was closer especially like days like today when i'm really bored!
Newarcher
Re: how far... about an hour to the new place....not looking forward to hunting this year as my new place is pretty grown up and hard to hunt. I don't have any time to really get down there and cut any shooting lanes so I will have to live with what I have there already. New

MUDRUNNER
Re: how far... My favorite spot is about 70 miles away.I've been going there since I was about 5 years old.We usually make the trip about once a month to mow and trim trees or ride the 4 wheelers, but with gas prices this year we havven't been up since turkey season. Another spot is about 60 miles, but this will be my first year hunting there. My local spot is about 15 miles away, and it is pretty small, but has way to many does and I usually see a loy of deer. Tominator
Re: how far... [ QUOTE ] Chris, is that the one you missed???? [/ QUOTE ] Nope. I missed a buck in '04. I was already tagged out when I saw these deer, otherwise I'd have been belly crawling with my bow.
