bigfoot22
Hello everybody, how's it going?Well going tomorrow and set the stands.Bow season right around the corner here. Some changes since last season-Price of hunting lic. gone up to $18.00 each.(state lic.-$18.00,Big game stamp-$18.00,Archery lic.$18.00,Muzzleloader-$18.00).They was $12.50 each last year. They have a deer season in the city this year(first time for this)Archery only and does only.It runs from Sept.16toOct.6.Then comes back in Jan8 thru march 31.Deer are every where here.I suppose the nunber of hunters will decline here just because of the price of licsense.I don't know yet.I hunt in the county but will be trying to get some in the city too.I have a great place to hunt in the city. The land owner told me to kill all I see. They are real problem with the people's garden and flower beds.Well thats enough from me,I hope everybody has a great ,safe season, good luck to all. sskybnd
Re: Bow Season i dont think the price of a hunting lic will stop many dye hard hunters, besides that think about what we all have in stuff, we use to hunt with that adds up to, when you think about, lets say the bow price 650.00 sights 89.00 releases 30.00 arrows 109.00 broad heads 30.00 and the list keeps getting bigger, my girl friend tells me when i talk about getting a new truck, you sell all that hunting stuff you have and you could pay for one outright, maybe maybe not, but the point here is that a 200.00 to 500.00 hunting lic when most of us have thousands of dollars tyied up in hunting gear, realy is;nt that much

You still stop that doe from making 1000 other deer. Do you not shoot deer after the rut? Same Same.

Thats different then shooting a doe that isn't pregnant.
hunterfisherman
Re: Bow Season 25.00 dollars in Indy plus the bonus antlerless tags and of course a Turkey tag and the waterfowl stamps. This fall will cost me over 200.00 in lic alone
