Guest Andrea
Okay, enough about you guys. What about your spouses? Do they talk ALL THE TIME? Do you ever wish you could "put a sock in it"?

RangerClay
Re: Talker??...part 2 I would give my left arm if my wife could just talk to me. She is the type that chooses not to discuss our problems and hopes they go away. Me, I want to discuss them.
257bob
Re: Talker??...part 2 She has like a sixth sense. When I am in the mood to watch TV or listen to the Radio, she has a million things to talk about. When I have something to say suddenly I'm interrupting her. I'll never figure it out. wtnhunt
Re: Talker??...part 2 Nope, the wife is not as shy as I am, but she is definitely not the kind to talk your ear off either.

c_lou
Re: Talker??...part 2 My wife, god love her, likes to talk when we go to bed. If we go to bed around 10, it's usually 10:45 before she quits down. Talks about nothing. But I love her so I just let her ramble.
Griz
Re: Talker??...part 2 Oh man...Can't shout her up...After a while the voices start coming back in my head and start talking to me and I then fade into the twlight zone... I keep wondering where the batteries are to this machine so I can remove them...

unioncountyslayer
Re: Talker??...part 2 [ QUOTE ] I plead the fifth. [/ QUOTE ] HaHa, normally I'd do the same thing, but since she's not a hunter and would never be in these forums, I'd say 2 Socks! It's nice at parties though where I don't really know anyone, she keeps the "strangers" occupied so I can just eat the free food.

Tominator
Re: Talker??...part 2 If she's wound up about something about work, look out, she gets on a roll. Or if she's in a really good mood, she's a chatter box. Other than that, she's pretty quiet. Very content to sit and sew, read a book, or game on the game cube or X-box. Probably why we get along so well.
whitetailkiller
Re: Talker??...part 2 yes my wife loves to talk ...even more than me!!!!!!!!!! i've learned over the years to act like i'm listening.....
Rhino
Re: Talker??...part 2 Well since she's my ex I'm safe to say what I want. When she was wound up about something, which was a lot she talked a whole lot and really LOUD. The 6 magic words "yes dear, whatever you say dear" didn't work with her. Enough said. DSGB
Re: Talker??...part 2 My wife talks A LOT! I don't mind it most of the time, because that's just the way she is, but sometimes I need some peace and quiet. Especially during the Braves game or football. She watches both with me most of the time, but tends to get bored with baseball and starts talking. She is LOUD, too. We are total opposites. AdvantageTimberLou
Re: Talker??...part 2 Mine talks, I never listen, that is what gets me in trouble! "How come you didn"t hear me?" Well honey I was reading the paper and watching TV, hard to add a third activity to the equation! That is not the right answer! She's a red head too, never get a red mad!! GWSmith
Re: Talker??...part 2 Most of the time she does not talk too much or become annoying....BUT Get her on the phone with her sister and you would swear there's skin from her ear growing around the phone reciever...they can go on for hours straight! It would not be a bother but she has the Talking Bone connected to the Walking Bone If I want to actually see what's on TV I'll just push the record button and wait until she's reading a book 95% of whats recorded on the DVR are my shows ...Her sister calls almost everyday
AdvantageTimberLou
Re: Talker??...part 2 This read reminded me of a story of a good friend of mine, this guy is funny even when he tries not to be. His wife and him and the family are driving down the highway and on the side of the road a car is on fire. A man and woman are on the side of the road watching it burn. As my buddy and his family pass the scene my buddy's wife says, "I wonder what happened?" My buddy says, "the guy's wife's jaw probably overheated and caught the car on fire!" Well the trip back home for my buddy was quiet!!
