LifeNRA
When I go to Run in the Start-up section, then type in "msconfig". Then click the last button on the right, "Start up". I noticed there are two entries for Quicktime in there. How can I remove them both??? Everytime the PC starts up the icon appears in the task bar. I dont want it too! I tried the add/remove programs, its not there. But what I noticed under 'msconfig", it says atboottime at the end of the entry. This is driving me NUTS!!! Texan_Til_I_Die
Re: Another Computer Question! Just remove the checks from those two boxes and click OK. It will give you some message the next time you start saying you're starting Windows differently. I think you can tell it not to display that message again. [/ QUOTE ] Both entries are the same, I removed the check from both of them, it asks me if I want to re-boot. I re-boot, and it comes right back! Go back in, and it has a check in the one at the top! I found the file in the Windows System folder, DELETED IT!!! Went back into msconfig, unchecked that one again, this time on re-boot it stopped finaly showing up! Hopefully, I didnt wreck nothing in that System folder! Thanks!!!
