Seen a few nice bucks in the mix. But when we left I almost hit a huge buck crossing the road to go to the bottoms to feed. Nothing big yet, but with the mild winters the last 2 years, this year and next should produce some really nice bucks. Population is up from what I can see. Just a bunch of does in the bean fields...only seen 4 or 5 bucks and none of them were very big. Hopefully that will change once i'm in a tree. I have seen a lot of big boys, and most of them have been feeding on alfalfa pretty early in the evening. I have a bacholer group of 5 that are pretty nice. The biggest one is my guy that I want to get another chance at. 12 pointer with forked brows. I missed him last year.......yes yes BUCK FEVER! I am glad I missed him clean though! Who could miss at 10 yards? Pretty bad huh? Oh well, I have been shooting since June! I have been running about 50 yards then pick up my bow and shoot an arrow or two! One monstrosity where I don't & can't hunt and one 18" or 19" wide dude where I can hunt......but he's not legal (he's a 6-point). So, I've seen a couple but neither counts.
