A bear, has even larger and tougher leg bones (like armour), and you need to wait for that front leg on a bear to be forward a bit, before you release. The broad head went through the leg bone and punctured the heart. The deer started to run and broke my arrow. I was shooting CX terminator carbon arrow (they are strong).
