I didn't locate her for about 10-15 minutes, so I assume she held her point while it was on the ground and then continued to point when it flushed into the tree. That is a grouse that she treed - just a juvenile ruffie.

I've taken her for ruffies before, even though she's more suited for open country. She's treed grouse for me in the past, and it comes in real handy because sometimes you can't see those jokers in the heavy bush even when they are sitting 8 feet up in a tree right in front of you. If Rosy's staring up into a tree, I know something's up there.
