GWSmith
I noticed yesterday when shooting something my new (shorter) arrows that had me concerned. It must have been happening before since my other arrows were only slightly longer but I never noticed it until yesterday. I had removed a small piece of fleece I had on the front of the riser that the arrow shaft lays on when not at full draw. No big deal it was going to be replaced anyways before the season. Yesterday the problem showed itself loud and clear! With the smaller shaft on the new arrows theres actually a very small bit of the insert that is larger than the shaft. Went to draw back the first time and I heard a little "Click"?????? Found out it was the insert hitting the front of the riser Never had any problems with that before(at least that I was aware of)! Shooting Mechanical Broadheads and Field Points it was never noticeable before and since I had removed the fleece it showed up. I wrote to Muzzy an Email that explained exactly what was happening to see if I could get the Zero Effect Arrow Rest to pick up the shaft faster preventing this problem. I called them as well shortly after sending the Email. Talked to Mark in the Tech Dept. and he read the email while I explained that I was switching to Fixed Blade Broadheads this year and I could see it being possibly a major problem! He took the time and walked me through the change in setting up the Arrow Rest. I screwed in one of my Muzzy 3Blade BH's and theres no problem now!!!!!!!! The rest picks the arrow shaft up almost immediately All I have to do now is go sight in my pins again and it's a done deal!!! I Love Great Customer Service
VTbowman
Re: Thank You Muzzy!!! Glad you found this out soon enough to get it taken care of. That would of been bad finding out a day or two before the season...

Guest HaDeRonDa
Re: Thank You Muzzy!!! Gary, remind me to show you how I fix this problem with my Trophy Ridge DZ. I happen to shoot two different arrows as well as different length and have a similar problem when I shoot fixed blades on my shorter arrows.
