Ok I hope no other kids saw this happen ... there is absolutely no reason to ever and I mean never point a gun at a human being ... what a lesson to teach kids who might see you "just playing" around.

I'm with you on this one Steve . I'll never understand people who buy their kids paintball guns, etc. and let them shoot at each other, yet, they wouldn't think of buying them a gun and teaching them how to handle it responsibly. That just burns me up. mad.gif

Re: OUCH!

Airsoft guns can be VERY dangerous.

A groupd of teens from a town 9 miles from me were driving a van and in the back they had 16 airsoft guns ALL spraypainted black. Automatics, and shotguns. When the officer went to pull them over for a traffic violations they pulled out by an old abandoned barn, so the officer approached cautiosly and asked if they had anything illegal on them. They said no but he found the guns in the back. The officer said things could have been much worse had he seen the guns or the kids pulled them out.

When held up next to a REAL swat gun that they have there is no telling the difference. So in different ways they can be dangerous.

Re: OUCH!

There's nothing wrong with paintball guns, as long as they're used responsibly.

Kids will be kids. I'm not that old, but I rode my bike without a helmet... I climbed trees and jumped out of them...we played tackle football, we got it fights, we stayed out way to late...we caused trouble...but most importantly...we had fun.

Sure, I took my fair share of bumps, bruises, and broken bones...but that came along with the terriotory and we rolled the dice and took what we got...all while keeping the whining and crying to a minimum. As kids we understood from an early age that the world can be dangerous, heck, we take a calculated risk every time we drive to the corner store.

I've never understood how people don't get this.

My next-door-neighbor's parents forced their kids to wear helmets, they couldn't cross the street on their bikes and they had to be inside by 7pm on summer nights. Well these parents also created an environment in which their kids had no friends, and in which they got picked on daily!

Let's not kill fun here guys. Arrow, I wounldn't recommend shooting each other with soft air guns, but I know where you're coming from...been there, done that. Just be careful.

If we don't curb this sorta thinking...our kids are gonna be pansies.

Got to agree with this here. Just dont see any good coming from playing around with a gun this way, even if it is just an air soft gun.
