slugshooter Posted August 25, 2006 Report Share Posted August 25, 2006 OK, you know how on a can opener, the blade is straight, but the can is round,well, how is the blade able to cut the lid in an arc, when by all accounts it should bind up because of the straight blade. There is enough flex in the can so it will be parallel to the cutter and the rollers! If you look close, you can see the can flexing!
